Kids Design Playground
Crayons in hand, Kimi Broadhurst(6) illustrates her dream playground Wednesday evening at the East Helena Volunteer Fire Hall. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana is partnering with KaBOOM!, a national non-profit that promotes active youth through community outreach, to build a new playground in East Helena and they asked children to help design it.

First grader Zoe Creswell writes her name on a math test. Bryant staff have placed added emphasis on math, as math skills are a key indicator of future success in high school. Bryant students demonstrated the most growth in math this year, data from a new district-wide assessment indicates.
